Memory Assignment

For my apeng assignment, Ms. Zaidi instructed us to write about our earliest memory, and to go from there. I started this assignment approximately 30 minutes, finding trouble where to start. So I picked one memory and stuck with it and went from there. Oh boy.

Even though she told us to write 1 memory minimum for each grade level following our first memory, this is literally impossible. Each fresh memory I remember uncovers another and another and I’m already left with a full page of “I Remember”s statements, barely breaching first grade. Also building steam while cruising past all these past memories.

I love this assignment. It’s like I’m picking apart my brain and laying out all of my fragmented memories in front of me. Waves of nostalgia, in a good way. I’ll post some memories later when I find the time, but this is pretty exciting. Now I’m thinking about writing a memory book for the heck of it. :D

Oh man I am still a kid at heart.

Absolutely love this! Need to visit Greece one day; the stone paved roads, unique white homes, the sea, and more. It’s so beautiful!!

Somehow, it doesn’t really register in my head that you’ve passed away. Even though  we didn’t talk as much as I hoped, when we did you were super nice and kind. Rest in peace, Jovanna.
